Personality:
Zaiya is clever—in the way that’s about people. She’s always been observant of others. Over time she’s developed skills to aid her in manipulating people. When you meet her she seems friendly enough, and she tries to be. The fun kind of person to be around, her mind everywhere at once, often going off on things that might not seem relevant at the time-point.
Gates changed with locks, doors with “no entry” signs; people a little secretive about their actions perk her interest. She’s curious and has a taste for trouble. It’s not that she doesn’t think about consequence, she does—she just doesn’t care too much about it.
When she acquires things—money, items, spells, people, that’s when she’s her happiest. Zaiya enjoys seducing, knowing she can have someone if she wants them
She hoards, her room is a ‘cave of hunk’; it’s not junk to her, of course. Each object has its purpose…if only she could remember what it all was. Oh well, she’ll remember later.



History:
Zaiya was raised in a large family—she hasn’t even met all her siblings. Her parents often skirted from relationship to relationship, having children with multiple different people throughout her upbringing. Zaiya was born when her parents were still together—and although it’s not unusual for her towns’ culture to not stay with partner too long, she was wounded when her parents broke apart. Not that she let her elder, or younger siblings know.
When she was of age she attended the Academy of Young Witching’s, receiving average or failing grades in all subjects but magic. Showing significant promise within the field of magic the school began to privately tutor her and she honed her magic skills.
At around 18 she left the academy and has been traveling the region. Now, 21, she decided to take a stay at the hiems mansion, perhaps in hope of a little more grounding.

Zaiya: *mumbles aloud to herself while mixing a new potion* perhaps, if I had Xina drops then…*flips a page in her spell book*…then that wouldn’t work and it’d turn out to be rubbish. *Sighs heavily* Why is it I can create the most wonderful spells, but a simple deodorant enchantment stumps me? God I swear if I have to smell that ghost anymore.. I just…. *Sighs again and leans back in her chair* Who knew ghosts could still smell?

Paragraph Sample: (Preferred style)
The cover was engraved with a language her mother taught her when she was younger. A modern dragon tongue, it wasn’t spoken too often around these parts though. The book was a gift, from her mother who hadn’t even checked the age range. The spells were used in primary school, usually for witches around the ages of 8. Simple things. Making flowers bloom, enchanting fabric so it doesn’t tear as easily. Every month she received some sort of gift from her mother—one that usually didn’t correspond to the kind of person she was. But that’s what her mum did to all the siblings, sent them gifts only partially relevant in the hope to maintain some sort of relationship.
She flipped through a couple more pages before laughing; there was a spell for “enchanted knickers”.
